Cenotes & Beaches

Tulum holds the honor of being the most picturesque archaeological site in the Riviera Maya and the only one to have been built overlooking the ocean. A visit here offers spectacular views of the Riviera Maya beaches, the Caribbean Sea, and the surrounding coastal region.

We recommend this Top 2:

1. Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve

On the coast of the state of Quintana Roo, at Sian Ka’an you can kayak through narrow canals between mangroves, climb an ancient pyramid, float in a crystal clear cenote, or try your hand at saltwater fly fishing.

2. Cenote Dos Ojos

The cenote itself is split in two – one half is clear and shallow, making it perfect for snorkeling, while the other half is deeper and is best for scuba divers.
